If your email inbox is full of spam mail and you have to delete it again and again, in such a situation blocking spam emails can be a good way. Know how email can be blocked on different platforms.
Block on Gmail
Login to your Gmail account and search for the email or the person that needs to be blocked. Now open that mail. With the email address here, three vertical dots will appear in the corner on the right. After clicking on it, the option of drop down menu will appear. After clicking on it, the email ID will be blocked forever.
If you want to block e-mails through Android or iPhone, then do this
First, open the Gmail app in your smartphone. Now find the email or the person whose email you want to block. Then open that email. Vertical menu with three dots on the right side of the email address will appear. When you tap on it, the block option will appear at the bottom. Tap on it. Email will be blocked.
Block on Outlook
First log-in to block the Outlook Web App. Then find the email that has to be blocked. After opening it, the menu with three horizontal dots will be found in the corner on the right. When you click on it, the block option will appear, tap on it. Android and IOS users will not be able to block the sender directly from the Outlook Smartphone app. You can send mail here to the spam folder.
Open the Outlook app on your smartphone. Then search for the email that you want to block. After opening the email, three vertical dots will be found in the top right corner. After taping on it, you will get the option of ‘Move to Spam’.
If you want to block via the desktop app, open the desktop desktop app on your computer. Then search the email that has to be blocked. After opening the email, right click on it. Then there will be a Block Sender option in junk.
